Twice in one day

I might be accused of becoming an obsessive blogger but wanted to share this with you - I saw Effie's work at the first Loch Lomond Quilt Show and it is truly inspiring.....

Details: 'A Sense of Place' is an exhibition of images inspired by the landscapes of the Outer Hebrides, interpreted by Effie Galletly in the unexpected and unusual medium of the quilt. For those familiar with her work, as part of the Kirkcudbright Art and Crafts Trail 2009, the show will include scenes on the islands of Harris, Lewis, North Uist, St Kilda, Mull, Coll, Skye and others as well as new work for 2010
