Apart from a very quick trip to busy Morrisons, I have spent all day gathering, sorting and pricing "stuff" for Thursday night's Bring & Buy stall at the Open Evening.
I am really excited with the selection we will have on offer and hope all of it sells and we will be able to send off a nice fat cheque to Help for Heroes..............
Yesterday was my last Sunday workshop of the current session and we were having a Day Trip Round the World.
Despite my warnings regarding clocks etc, I managed to sleep in due to my own alarm clock stopping in the middle of the night.
The expressions on the faces of all the waiting ladies was priceless as I arrived, still on time, but later than usual..........my apologies again.
Everyone seemed to enjoy making their quilt tops no doubt helped by my outstanding demonstration..........will post photos as soon as humanly possible.
Thanks again for a wonderful day at your workshop on sunday it was my third and i have thoroughly enjoyed each one thanks to the girls that attended for the chatter and friendship i'm looking forward to Thursday and have my form filled in ready to enrol for the beginners class - thanks mum for a lovely birthday present that found you all. xx

ReplyDeleteSunday was such a good day, Sheila. I will miss the classes and workshops while the bowling season takes over my time this year. I look forward to catching up with everyone next year - however at my age I shouldn't be wishing my life away!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Quilting everyone.
