Thank you so much Sheila for this great QAL.
Even though I am currently a lapsed Mystery Girl, I will get this completed, I promise - it's on 'the list'!!
What a wonderful pattern and a way for people to learn all those different stars and techniques. I'llhave to go and check out the Flickr photos!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting this QAL it was great fun even though I don't love paper piecing....yet. I'm a bit behind but I promise I will catch up too. I've really enjoyed making all the different stars and going outside my comfort zone.
ReplyDeleteWow, the final plan is lovely! I will be paper piecing little jaggy edges again this week and then I can start the borders, and the braids all together. I can hardly wait to start quilting this one, I have not decided what method I will use yet. Thank you again, it has been great fun working on this project, what will your next QAL be?
ReplyDeleteSeeing it all together makes me want to finish it all the more. Oh how I wish I had time to work on it right this minute. Seriously, Sheila....stunning quilt!! THank you so very much for hosting this! You did a fab job!

ReplyDeleteWow Sheila - this is amazing! I really am loving stars and I`ve had a quick look at flikr and you must be so proud of the amazing makes. There`s an amazing black and white one there. I should give this a try but I think you have some paper piecing...could a numptee like me have a go?
ReplyDeleteShelia I am still travelling around but have a good connection today so have downloaded the rest of the patterns. Going back to Scotland on Sunday. I'm told we have snow on the mountains already, so I'm ready to snuggle down for the winter and finish my starry quilt. It was a great QAL, thanks so much for all you have done.
